Daily Schedule
Read at Three Program
Letter names, sounds, and reading are learned individually.
Free play & clean up 1 hr. 30 min.
The children freely explore the 10 different interest centers: Art, Water Table, Dramatic Play, Blocks, Fine Motor, Science, Books, Music & Movement, Math and Large Motor. They will also learn responsibility while cleaning up at the end.
School Room 15 min.
Literacy and Numeracy skills are specifically taught. Authentic items from cultures around the world are introduced.
Circle Time 15 min.
Each day we explore a different area: math, Spanish, science, and language skills. New books, songs, rhymes, colors, shapes, and numbers are introduced.
Snack time 15 min.
USDA approved snacks are served. Children eat and socialize before cleaning up and washing hands.
Outside Play 30 min.
The backyard is set up as a hands-on science and play center for the children to explore. In the winter, children learn how to put on snow gear and enjoy snowball makers and sleds.
HOLIDAYS:
We are closed on all holidays. A calendar and newsletter will be sent home each month to remind you.
MAKE-UP DAYS FOR CHILD:
If your child misses a day of school, you can schedule a make-up day on any session of the week.
SHOW AND TELL:
Show-and-Tell days are on Thursday and Friday every week. Please call ahead if you plan to bring pets or other items of this nature
